ABSTRACT
A field experiment was conducted to study the effects of Integrated nutrient management in rabi maize (Zea mays L.) and their residual effect on summer greengram (Vigna radiata L.) during the years 2011-12 and 2012-13 at College Agronomy Farm, B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand. Among the different treatments, application of 75 % RDN + 25 % N through FYM recorded significantly higher maize grain (4948 kg/ha) and fodder (8580 kg/ha) yields and it was at par with 75 % RDN + 25 % N through VC and 75 % RDN + 25 % N through CC (In case of grain yield). Seed treatment with Azospirillum recorded significantly higher maize grain (4552 kg/ha) and fodder (8098 kg/ha) yields as compared to without seed treatment. The residual effect of 50 % RDN + 50 % N through FYM was recorded significantly higher seed (806.4 kg/ha) and stover (1396 kg/ha) yields of succeeding summer greengram and it was at par with 50 % RDN + 50 % N through vermicompost. The highest net realization of ` 72,007 /ha was obtained under 75% RDN + 25 % N through FYM with benefit cost ratio of 2.65.
