ABSTRACT
The experiment was conducted at Department of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, Agricultural College, Bapatla during 2013-2014 kharif to study the influence of aquatic weed composts (Ipomoea and Eichhornia) with various levels of inorganic sources on available macronutrients (N, P and K), sulphur, organic carbon and post-harvest soil properties in rice. The organic carbon, available macronutrients, sulphur and micronutrient status in soil was significantly influenced by the treatments at 15, 30, 60, 90 and 120 DAT. At the same level of recommended dose of nitrogen, Ipomoea was superior in maintaining the higher organic carbon, available macro and micronutrient status. But bulk density, pH, EC and CEC of soils were not significantly influenced by the integrated application of fertilizer nitrogen and aquatic weed composts and FYM .
