ABSTRACT
The present studies aimed at evaluating the effects of varying doses of NAA, GA3 and TIBA on the physical and biochemical changes of peach fruits cultivar Shan –i- Punjab.. Eight year old plants of peach were sprayed with naphthalene acetic acid (10,20 and 30 ppm), gibberellic acid (10,20 and 30 ppm) and TIBA (5,10 and 15 ppm). Fruits from treated plants were picked at physiological mature stage, then the fruits were immediately carried to the laboratory for sorting and packaging in CFB boxes and then stored in cold store (0 to 3.3°C temperature and RH 85-90%). The fruits were analyzed at different storage intervals i.e. 0,5,10, 15,20 and 25 days after storage. Maximum colour development (6.75), organoleptic rating (8.38) and minimum spoilage (5.91%) were recorded in fruits treated with TIBA 10 ppm. TSS: acid ratio (16.49%) was recorded in fruits treated with gibberellic acid 30 ppm.
