ABSTRACT
Land and water are two primary resources associated with agricultural production. But the fertile land is eroded due to various reasons and water becomes scars day by day. In such a situation there is need of popularly efficient soil and water conservation practices. The present study is proposed to be conduct in Nandura Panchayat Samiti of Buldhana district in Maharashtra. The agriculture in this region is totally depends on the rain water. The study was planned to know the extent of knowledge, attitude and extent of soil and water conservation practices. Most of the farmers having medium level of knowledge, favorable attitude and low level of adoption about soil and water conservation practices.
