ABSTRACT
The study was conducted in Tumsar Panchayat Samiti, Bhandara district in Maharashtra State, A sample of 150 paddy grower was taken with an object. The data were collected with help of pre-tested structured schedule by personally interviewing the paddy grower and analyzed statically. Majority of paddy growers belonged to medium level of adoption of IPM practices. The variables namely education, land holding, area under paddy, annual income, social participation, socio economic status, sources of information, risk preferences and knowledge had established positive and highly significant correlation with adoption of IPM practices of paddy by paddy growers. All variables jointly procedure the variation to the extent 82.12 per cent in adoption of IPM practices of paddy-by-paddy grower.
