Incidence of red palm weevil (Rhynchophorus ferrugineus O.) was highest 2.43 per cent in Palghar district followed by Ratnagiri district (1.72 %). The red palm weevil incidence was noticed in Sindhudurg (0.99%) and Raigad (0.74 %) district. The infestation of black headed caterpillar (Opisina arenosella W.) was observed only in Palghar districts which was 6.70 per cent.
