ABSTRACT
The study assessed the production practices among Fadama farmers and was carried in Odeda Local Government Area of Ogun State. A total of one hundred twenty (120) Fadama farmers were interviewed through the use of a structure questionnaire to generate data for the study. Descriptive statistics such as percentage and frequencies were used to analyse the primary data.
The result shows that the farmers do not use the recommended production practices of vegetable production and that they are still attached to their indigenous method of production and this often reduce their production capacity. It is therefore recommended that farmers' extension have to be intensified so as for the farmers to adopt the improved practices through all means of dissemination of information.
