ABSTRACT
Baseline susceptibility studies of lufenuron 5.4 % EC on third instar larvae of Spodoptera litura was conducted at the Biocontrol Laboratory, Main Agricultural Research Station, MARS, Raichur during 2012-13. Susceptibility was determined by topical bioassay technique using potters tower. The Calculated LC50 value was 12.140 ppm at F1 generation while it was 3.740 ppm at F6 generation where larvae were not exposed to lufenuron 5.4 % EC. Similarly the calculated susceptible index and susceptible ratio was 2.66 and 1.50 respectively. From the study it was evident that F6 generation was highly susceptible than F1 generation.
