ABSTRACT
The leaves of total phenols, amino acids, specific activities of enzyme perxidase and chlorophyll in the leaves infected with Alternaria blight (Alternaria brassicicola) of Indian mustard (Brassica juncea L.) were estimated at 65 days after sowing. Total phenols increased 4.30mg/g with disease intensity 75%. In response to disease intensity (25%, 75%) amino acids is 1.40 mg/g and 0.98 mg/g and chlorophyll is 3.60 mg/g, 2.52 mg/g, respectivity. Specific activities of peroxidase in relation to disease intensity increase sharply.
