ABSTRACT
Fifty five hybrids were generated from seven lines and five testers in line x tester mating design and evaluated for baby corn traits viz., earliness, prolificacy, yield and quality parameters. Among them, HKI-163 x BLSB-5, PDM-112-2 x BLSB-5 and CM-150-Y-1 x BLSB-5 were the superior crosses for yield and also gave good quality. The crosses viz., CM-150-Y-1 x PDM-167-1, CM-136-1 x CM-135-1, PDM-4441 x BLSB-5 and PDM-4441 x CM-135-1 were superior in quality with medium yield.
