ABSTRACT
Field experiment was conducted at Agriculture Farm AS College Lakhaoti Bulandhshahr (UP) during 2006-07,2007-08 in rabi season to evaluate net profit in study of chickpea + linseed intercropping system. Five cropping systems of intercropping viz., chickpea sole 45 cm spacing, linseed sole 45 cm spacing, chickpea + linseed 3:1,4:1,6:2 were studied. The treatments were laid out in a split plot design replicated 4 times. keeping in view of net profit intercropping system 4:1 was found suitable. Chickpea + linseed 4:1 system gave the highest net profit of Rs. 15285/ ha. and Rs. 13540 /ha. with and 1.31 and 1.01 benefit : cost ratio during the years 2006-07, 2007-08.
