In the present study thirteen and ten silkworm, Bombyx mori L., hybrids were evaluated for their performance in nine metric traits during spring and summer seasons of 2012 and 2013 respectively. The data generated was pooled separately, analyzed statistically and subjected to multiple trait evaluation index and only seven crosses viz., SK1 × SK6, SK6 × SK13, SK6 × SK31, PAM117 × PAM114, SK30 × SK28, DUN6 × DUN22 and BRO × KSO for spring season and six crosses viz., SK6 × SK31, JBEL × SH6, SK1 × SK6, SH6 × JBEL, BRO × KSO and SK31 × SK13 for summer season were found promising with evaluation index above 50. The hybrids that scored mean evaluation index above 50 were shortlisted for multi locational trial.
