ABSTRACT
Two independent experiments were conducted to induce flowering in an irregular bearing mango cultivar 'Alphonso' with the fortnight ringing and paclobutrazol application. In the first experiment of ringing results opined that the flowering intensity, earliness in flowering, number of fruits per tree, yield per hectare were recorded the maximum with ringing in first fortnight of May i.e. R1. However, in second experiment the flowering intensity, number of fruits per tree, fruit yield per hectare were recorded the maximum with the application of paclobutrazol in second fortnight of June i.e. T4 with highest net realization .
