ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT . The study was carried out in Anand district of Gujarat state to identify the various constraints faced by farmers in bio-pesticides application. A random sample of 200 farmers was selected from Anand, Petlad, Tarapur, and Anklav talukas. The result of the study depicted that major constraints faced by farmers in application of bio-pesticides are lack of knowledge about different bio-pesticides, non-availability of quality bio-pesticides, lack of field demonstrations on bio-pesticides and awareness should be creates among the farming community about bio-pesticides, demonstrations should be conducted involving the farming community to show its importance, bio-pesticides should be made available to all the needy and interested farmers, farmers should be trained about the production and usage of the bio-pesticides are important suggestions given by farmers to overcome these constraints.
