ABSTRACT
The vegetative growth parameters like height of plant, number of leaves, bolting percentage and neck thickness were influenced significantly due to different treatments. The maximum number of leaves per plant (22.86), height of plant (72.54 cm), minimum bolting percentage (3.13 %), minimum neck thickness (0.78 cm) was recorded with 1% spray of ZnSo . The maximum weight 4 average weight of fresh bulb (127.04 g), maximum average weight of cured bulb (123.59 g), maximum bulb yield per plot (22.28 kg/plot) and bulb yield per hectare (49.90 t/ha) was recorded with 1% spray of ZnSo while the minimum was recorded in control.
