ABSTRACT
An experiment was carried out under net house condition at shade net, in the Department of Horticulture, Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, Prayagraj. The treatments combination comprised of vermicompost, cocopeat, and rice husk charcoal mixed in various percentage. Altogether, 13 treatments were applied in a factorial CRD with three repetitions. The results revealed that the application of treatments T1 (Vermicompost + cocopeat (1:1)) is found better early germination as well as higher germination percentage and length of seedlings and their roots. Further, the treatments T1 has an increased effect on stem girth, number of leaves, seedlings height, and survival percentage with comparatively higher root length. It also gives the most profitable return by having highest benefit cost ratio (2.72) and is therefore the most suitable treatments combination.
