ABSTRACT
Result of field experiment conducted at Puriya Park Farm, K.K. Wagh College of Agriculture, Saraswatinagar, Panchawati, Nashik during rabi season 2009-10 revealed that irrigating the crop at 0.6 IW/CPE (I3) resulted in significantly the highest plant height (48.78 cm), number of branches per plant(19.55), number of root nodules per plant (25.45), pods per plant (55.69), weight of pods per plant (18.82 g), test weight (36.45 g), seed (22.95 q/ha), straw (53.38 q/ha) yields. Similarly highest plant height, number of branches per plant, number of root nodules, pods per plant, weight of pods per plant, test weight and seed (21.68 q/ha) and straw (49.21 q/ha) yields were obtained with ridges and furrow over flat bed method of planting.
