ABSTRACT
The present investigation on effect of organic manure on growth and yield of radish (Raphanus sativus L.) CV Japanese White was conducted at Horticulture Research Farm, Dhampur (Bijnor) during winter season 2019-2020. The experiment was laid out in RBD with 8 treatments of organic manure viz. T1 (FYM 10 ton./ha), T2 (Poultry Manure 2 ton./ha), T3 (Vermicompost 4 Ton./ha), T4 (FYM + Poultry manure (50% + 50%)), T5 (FYM + Vermicompost (50% + 50%)), T6 (Poultry manure + Vermicompost (50%+50%)), T7 (FYM + Poultry manure + Vermicompost (33%+33%+33%) and T8 (Control). The results showed that the growth attributes was very much fluctuated in different treatments. As far as yield characters are concerned, it was found that the treatment T2 (Poultry manure 2 ton./ha) was found superior over all the other treatments studied.
