ABSTRACT
An investigation was carried out to study the effect of hydropriming technology on seed quality parameter and yield of pigeonpea. The field experiment was laid out in FRBD with two factors i.e. various priming period and different seed: water ratio (w/v) in three replication. The significant superiority of hydropriming seeds over unprimed seeds in pigeonpea was observed. Hydroprimimg seed treatment for 8 hrs with 1:2 seed:water ratio helps to improve the seed quality and subsequently seed yield of pigeonpea which ultimately helps to improve the socio-economic standard of seed growers and farmers in general.
