ABSTRACT
An experiment was conducted to study the effect of graded doses of N, P and different biofertilizers viz., Azospirillum and phosphobacteria along with growth regulators viz., NAA-50 ppm and GA3-100 ppm on growth and yield of okra (Abelmoschus esculentus (L.) Moench) at Department of Horticulture, Agricultural College & Research Institute, Madurai. The result reveled that 75 per cent recommended dose of N, P + 100 per cent of K + Azospirillum + Phosphobacteria + GA3 –100 ppm registered higher values for yield components traits i.e. number of flower per plant (29.00), pod length (15.65 cm), individual pod weight (18.76 g), yield plant-1 (520.16 g), yield ha-1(13.04 tonnes).
