ABSTRACT
A field experiment entitled effect of integrated weed management practices on rabi greengram (Vigna radiata) cv CO-4 was carried out during rabi season of 2005-06 to 2007-08 at Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari. The results revealed that higher seed (1297 kg ha-1) and haulm (3720 kg ha-1) yields with higher weed control efficiency (77.77) were secured by two hand weeding (HW) along with hoeing at 20 and 40 days after sowing (DAS) (W4) which was followed by two HW at 20 and 40 Days After sowing (W3) and pendimethalin as (PE) @ 0.75 kg a.i. ha-1+1 HW and hoeing at 40 DAS (W8). The farmer treatment also secured maximum net realization (Rs. 19943 ha-1) with BCR of 3.54. This practices proved effective and economical.
