ABSTRACT
An experiment was conducted during rabi season of the year 2012-13 at college Agronomy farm, B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand to study the effect of nitrogen, phosphorus and sulphur on rajma under loamy sand soil. There were three levels of nitrogen (80, 120 and 160 kg/ha), three levels of phosphorus (0, 40 and 80 kg/ha) and two levels of sulphur (0 and 20 kg /ha) were tried. An application of 120 kg N/ha reported significantly higher growth attributes, yield attributes and seed yield as well as protein and nutrient uptake by rajma. 80 kg P2O5/ha and 20 kg S/ha significantly improved growth and yield attributers, seed and stover yield, quality of seed and nutrient uptake by seed. Perusal of data also reported that interaction effects of nitrogen and phosphorus and phosphorus and sulphur also reported significant effects on rajma.
