ABSTRACT
The application of 3/4thdose of NPK and 100kg FYM in combination with Azotobacter, Azospirillum and PSB (100g/tree each) increase the plant height, tree spread and canopy volume remarkably. The time of flower initiation was found to be reduced by application of 3/4th dose of NPK and 100kg FYM in combination with bio-fertilizers, while control took more time for flower initiation. The treatment T0 (control) recorded the higher sex ratio and the treatment T10 showed comparatively lower sex ratio followed by T9, T5 and T8 during both the years. The application of 3/4th dose of NPK, 100 kg FYM alongwith bio-fertilizers (Azotobacter, Azospirillum and PSB) (T5) recorded significantly maximum fruit set per cent and fruit retention per cent followed by ½ dose of NPK, 100kg FYM alongwith Azotobacter, Azospirillum and PSB (T10).The minimum fruit drop per cent was observed with the application of 3/4th dose of NPK, 100 kg FYM along with bio-fertilizers followed by T10, T4 and T3 during both the years, while, control revealed the highest fruit drop.
