ABSTRACT
A field experiment was carried out in College of Agriculture, Orissa University of Agric. & Technology, Bhubaneswar, Odisha during rabi-2010 with eight treatments (T1, T2,T3 : Panchagaya @ 2%, 2.5% and 3% concentration at 10 days interval, T4, T5, T6: Panchagavya @ 2%, 2.5% and 3% concentration at 15 days interval, T7 spraying of Imidaclorprid @2.5 ml/ 10 lt and T8: control. The results of the experiment revealed that foliar application of panchagavya at 3% concentration (30ml/lt of solution) at 10 days interval produce highest plant height (80.17 cm), early 50% flowering (44.33 days), highest number of flowers (301.73), number of fruit (169.45) and highest yield/ha (21.95 q of dry fruit).
