ABSTRACT
The field experiment was carried out during the kharif season of the years 2010-11, 2012-13, 2013-14 and 2014-15 at Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Research Station, Anand Agricultural University, Anand, Gujarat to study the effect of three plant geometry (S1-Broadcasting, S2 -15 cm between two row and S3-30 cm between two row) and three different dates of sowing (D1-1st week of July, D2-3rd week of July and D3-1st week of August) on dry biomass yield of bhoy ambli. The results obtained that the plant geometry S2 -15 cm between two row recorded significantly superior on dry biomass yield (1948 kg ha-1). While early sowing (1st week of July) noted higher dry biomass yield 2323 kg ha-1. This study revealed that combination treatment S2D1 (Sowing 1st week of July with 15 cm between two row) gave the higher dry biomass yield 2482 kg ha-1 also get higher net realization worth ` 36290 ha-1 with BCR (1.95).
