ABSTRACT
Field experiment was conducted to investigate the response of maize hybrid (GH-0727) to foliar micronutrients spray and provenance effect. Experiment was laid out in RBD with factorial concept with three replications during kharif of 2012-13. Factor one consists of two locations, second factor is plant nutrition with ten levels. Among the locations Kallolli is came up with best results of seed yield (17.42 q/ha), hundred seed weight (27.93 g), germination per cent (94.33%), seedling vigour index (3609) and seedling dry weight (1.82 mg) and the treatments T5 (RDF+ ZnSO4 @ 0.5% (foliar)) is found significantly affecting seed yield (17.59 q/ha), hundred seed weight (32.17 g), germination per cent (94.63%), seedling vigour index (3863) and seedling dry weight (2.22 mg).
Key words :
