ABSTRACT
Study was conducted for the estimation of socio-economic characteristics on productivity of potato. The results revealed in regression analysis, coefficient of multiple determination was 0.809 which indicated that, Pukraj potato productivity was influenced by all variables together with 80.90 per cent. Coefficient of multiple determination was 0.897 it indicated that, there was 89.70 per cent effect of all socio-economic characteristics on Sanga potato productivity. In regards to regression coefficient of individual socio-economic characteristics, coefficient with respect to land holding of the Pukraj potato productivity was positive and significant that was 3.807. Regression coefficient with respect to investment on irrigation structure was positive and significant that was 0.008. While, coefficient with respect to livestock was significant and positive that was 3.801 in sanga potato farm.
