ABSTRACT
In order to study the effect of zinc and boron on growth and yield parameters of groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L) a field experiment was conducted on sandy loam soil (Typic Haplustalf) with deficient in available zinc (0.46 mg kg-1) and boron (0.43 mg kg-1). Results of the experiment showed that plant height, number of branches per plant, pod and haulm yield, shelling %, crude protein content, oil content and oil yield of groundnut was significant increased over the control due to application of boron @ 5 kg ha-1 and zinc sulphate at three level 5, 10 and 20 kg ha-1 either alone are in combination with borax.
Key words :
Arachis hypogaea, biometric, boron, groundnut oil, quality attributes, yield, zinc.
