ABSTRACT
An field experiment was carried out during 2010-2011 at vegetable seed production block, Department of Horticulture, GKVK, UAS, Bangalore. 25 F1 hybrids of oriental pickling melon are used to evaluate for important pest and diseases. Results have clearly exhibited the F1 hybrids such as CMC GKVK 2 X CMC GKVK 4, CMC GKVK 3 X CMC GKVK 11 and CMC GKVK 5 X CMC GKVK 13 are moderately resistant F1 hybrids for powdery mildew incidence, downy mildew incidence and fruit fly infestation respectively.
