ABSTRACT
The study was conducted to know the effect of different grain protectants in protecting the sorghum from the infestation of rice weevil, Sitophlus oryzae during 2008-09 at the Department of Seed Science and Technology, College of Agriculture, Dharwad. The study indicated that sweet flag powder (2.5%) and custard apple seed powder (2.5%) have showed highest per cent germination and seedling vigour, adult mortality and no weight loss throughout the observation period compared to control.
