ABSTRACT
An experimental trial was conducted in the field of Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, West Bengal during 2019-20 to evaluate the performance of 20 genotypes of tuberose collected from all over the country. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design in which each of the treatments were replicated thrice. The statistical analysis revealed that for single type of tuberose, variety Prajwal performed better than the other varieties in almost all the parameters of growth and floral attributes except for the spike length which was recorded the highest in Sikkim Selection. The double type of tuberose variety Hyderabad Double gave better performance in terms of number of florets per spike, spike length and overall floret weight (single and per spike). SwarnaRekha, Vaibhav and Pune Local Double also gave satisfactory performance when the data recorded are analyzed statistically.
