ABSTRACT
Among different resistance inducing chemicals tested, Trichoderma viride broth treated seeds recorded maximum germination per cent of 99.33, and vigour (839.86) found most effective as compared to other treatments. Wherein salicylic acid and B. subtilis (I) recorded 92.70 per cent germination each with 648.56 and 361.43 vigour index respectively. This was followed by gibberlic acid with germination per cent (90.80) and vigour index (742.10). However, the treatment with P.fluorescens recorded least germination per cent (45.8) but with higher vigour index of 644.76. Panchagavya is used at different concentrations viz., 1, 3, and 5 against mycelial growth of C. lunata under in vitro condition, at 5 per cent was found most effective in inhibiting the growth (86.30 %) followed by 3 per cent (81.00). and 1 per cent (72.00).The efficacy of panchagavya, were tested for seed treatment against challenged inoculum C. lunata and the The highest germination per cent 90.70 and vigour index (1036.36) were recorded in panchagavya treated seed as compared to control with 60.80 per cent germination and vigour index 433.32.
