ABSTRACT
The double hybrid {(CSR6 x CSR26) x (CSR2 x CSR27)}was subjected for popularization in non traditional sericultural district of Koppal in Karnataka for three years (2008-09, 2009-10 & 2010-11). During the year 2008-09, 22050 Dfls were supplied to 99 farmers and recorded average cocoon yield of 56.89 kg/100 Dfls, in the year 2009-10, 47300 dfls were supplied to 248 farmers, recorded average cocoon yield of 58.82 kg/100 Dfls & in the year 2010-11, 59250 Dfls were supplied to 261 farmers & recorded an average cocoon yield of 56.18 kg/100 dfls. Average cocoon price per kg was `148.50 in 2008-09, ` 191.25 in 2009-10 & ` 232.20 in the year 2010-11.
