ABSTRACT
An attempt has been made to study the growth rates of area, production and productivity of soybean and instability of soybean production in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra state. The study was based on secondary data collected from various government publications and pertains to a period of 16 years i.e. from 1990-91 to 2004-06. From this study, it is concluded that the instability in soybean was observed in all the districts of Vidarbha which is a disturbing significant.
