ABSTRACT
The result of a pot experiment shown that the maximum green fodder yield of (178.33 g pot-1) and dry matter yield of (45.00 g pot-1) recorded under treatment T4 (Poultry manure + 100 % RDN), which was at par with treatment T2 (FYM + 100 % RDN), T6 (Neem cake + 100 % RDN) and T7 (Neem cake + 75 % RDN), and was 55.06 % and 43.03 % higher over the control. The maximum nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and sulphur content and uptake was recorded under treatment T4 (Poultry manure + 100 % RDN), and it was at par with treatment T6 (Neem cake + 100 % RDN), T7 (Neem cake + 75 % RDN) and T8 (Castor cake + 100 % RDN). The maximum iron content of 315.67 mg kg-1 and iron uptake of 12.24 mg pot-1was recorded under treatment T2 (FYM + 100 % RDN). The maximum copper content of 13.33 mg kg-1 and copper uptake of 0.60 mg pot-1 was recorded under treatment T4 (poultry manure + 100 % RDN). Organic matter through concentrate organic matter increased the soil fertility and C:N ratio.
