ABSTRACT
The four bio-control agents and five botanicals were evaluated under in vitro condition against the causal agent of Alternaria leaf blight of chilli caused by Alternaria alternata. Out of four bio-control agents Trichoderma harzianum and T. viride inhibited growth of A. alternata by 86.11 and 81.33 per cent over control, respectively. Among the botanicals tested Garlic 10 at per cent concentration completely inhibited the mycelial growth. The extracts of glyricidia and karanj suppressed the growth by 52.22 and 36.22 per cent, respectively over control.
