ABSTRACT
A field experiment was conducted at the experimental farm, AICRP on Integrated Farming Systems, V.N. Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani during 2013-14. The experiment was laid out in a split plot design using 8 treatments with 3 replications. The main plot consists of 2 varieties i.e., MAUS-71 (V1), MAUS-158 (V2) with 2 fertilizer levels viz., 100% RDF as 30:60:30 kg NPK ha-1 (F1), 125% RDF as 37.5:75:37.5 kg NPK ha-1 (F2) and sub-plot comprised of 4 spacings viz., 60 x 05 cm2 (S1), 60 x 10 cm2 (S2), 30 x 30 cm2 (S3) and 45 x 05 cm2 (S4). Variety MAUS-158, application of 125% RDF and spacing 45 x 05 cm2 recorded significantly higher yield, yield attributing characters. The highest yield as well as gross and net monetary returns were found at highest in MAUS-158, application of 125% RDF and spacing 45x 05 cm2 as compared to the rest of the treatments.
