ABSTRACT
A field experiment was conducted at Agronomy farm, Department of Agronomy S.K.N. College of Agriculture Jobner, S.K. Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner to study the influence of levels and foliar spray of fertilizer on growth, yield attributes, yield and NPK uptake by barley (Hordium vulgare L.). With increase levels of RDF, increase the plant height, dry matter accumulation per metre row length, yield (grain, straw and biological), chlorophyll content (mg/g), concentration of N,P,K in grain and straw and total uptake of NPK. Application of 2% urea as foliar spray recorded significantly higher plant height, dry matter accumulation per metre row length, grain yield and chlorophyll content than other treatments. Application of 3% urea spray being at par with 2% urea spray, significantly increased nitrogen content in grained and total N uptake. Increase P content in grains and total uptake of P by application of 2% DAP spray while K concentration in grains and straw and total K uptake by 2% KCL spray.
Key words :
Barley, Crop production, DAP & KCL spray, Growth & yield attributes, Hordium vulgare, Urea.
