ABSTRACT
A field study was conducted during kharif season 2010-11 at experimental field of Department of Horticulture, Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani, to study the influence of micronutrients and biofertilizers on growth, yield and quality attributes of tomato. Application of micronutrients and biofertilizers in combination with recommended dose of inorganic fertilizers had more pronounced effect on yield and yield attributing traits as compared to the application of inorganic fertilizers alone. In the present study, it had been observed that application of RDF (150:100:50 NPK kg per ha) + 0.3% FeSO4 + B + ZnSO4 (0.1% each) + Azotobacter + PSB (2 g/plant hill) significantly enhanced the different growth, yield and quality attributes and increased yield of tomato.
Key words :
