ABSTRACT
Result of a field experiment conducted at College Farm, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari during summer 2001-02 revealed that irrigating the crop at 0.7 IW/CPE ratio (I3) resulted in significantly the highest seed (1192.40 kgha-1) and stover (3689.97 kgha-1) yields. An application of 100% recommended dose of fertilizer (20-40-0 NPK kgha-1) along with 5 tha-1 (F3) produced significantly higher seed (1268.54 kgha-1) and straw (3852.54 kgha-1) yields.
