ABSTRACT
Two 2 – amino/ arylamino–4–[2'–mercapto – (2”nitroanilino)–3'–phenyl–4'–oxo–(3'H)–quinazolin] –1,3–thiazoles and 2–aryl amino–5–thioacetyl–[2'–mercapto–(2”–nitro anilino)–3'–phenyl–4'–oxo–(3'H)–quinazolin –1,3,4–thiadiazoles were synthesized and evaluated for their insecticidal activity against Callosobruchus chinensis on legume grains. The compounds have been effective as an increase in the percentage mortality of the insects was observed.
Key words :
Callosobruchus chinensis, legume grains, quinazolin, thiadiazoles, thiazoles.
