ABSTRACT
An investigation was carried out at Central Nursery, Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani (M.S.) India during the year 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 to study the growth of sapota graft of Khirni (Manilkara hexandra, L.) seedlings under open and shade net house conditions. Among the various treatments given after fifth and sixth months from the date of sowing to Khirni seedlings, GA3 150 ppm foliar spray was found to be the best treatment for increasing the length, diameter, number of leaves and grafting success percentage while the treatment control i.e. no spray recorded minimum growth of sapota graft of Khirni seedlings under shade net house and open conditions.
