ABSTRACT
An investigation was carried out at Central Nursery, Department of Horticulture, Marathwada Agricultural University, Parbhani, during the year 2006-07 and 2007-08 to study the root growth of khirni (Manilkara hexendra L.) seedlings under open and shade net house conditions. Among the various foliar treatments given to khirni seedlings, GA3 150 ppm and cow urine 100% foliar spray were found to be the best treatments for increasing the root growth of khirni seedlings.
