ABSTRACT
The study of involvement of women in economic management of family farm was undertaken in Ramtek Panchayat Samiti of Nagpur district. The data were collected from 135 women respondents selected randomly from 10 villages. The findings of study reveal that women played important role in economic management of family farm, in respect of family expenditure, farm labor management and overall financial planning of family. The involvement of women in family expenditure was highest as compared to other economic activities. Age and participation in farm activities had positively significant relationship while education, annual income from sources other than farming, size of family and cosmopoliteness had negatively significant relationship with involvement of women in economic management of family farm. However, land holding, socio- economic status of family and annual farm income had no significant relationship with involvement of women in economic management of family farm. The findings indicate the need for identification of potential areas for increasing the involvement of women to support their families.
