ABSTRACT
Piper longum is an important cash crop of Vidarbha region of Maharashtra state. Root rot complex and Colletotrichum leaf blight are severe disease in Vidarbha region resulting in significant yield losses of P. longum. Among the module tested, module –III was found efficient in all growth parameters like average length of vine (182.04 cm), number of branches per vine (16.0), yield of dry fruit (16.88 q/ha) and also reduce the root knot index (1.04) and root rot complex (11.68%). Module-I was found effective to lower down the Colletotrichum leaf blight intensity (11.67%) as compared to other module.
Key words :
Bioagents, colletotrichum, leaf blight, organic amendments, Piper longum, root rot .
