ABSTRACT
Post-harvest disease of Aonla (Emblica officinalis) inicited by Penicillium fellutanum Biourge was observed in Jobner, Chomu and Jaipur vegetable and fruit markets causing substantial yield losses. Fruits treated with different fungicides, plants extract and biological control agents showed effective control of the fruit rot. Bavistin (0.05%) and Kavach (0.2%) were found to be most effective for checking the fruit rot. Azardirachta indica (5%) and Curcuma longa (5%) were the effective plant extracts in reducing the severity of the rot. Trichoderma viride and Trichoderma harzianm were also found to be most effective bio- control agents in controlling of the fruit rot at 4th and 8th days after inoculation both in pre- and post inoculation treatments, respectively.
