ABSTRACT
Experiments conducted during 2017-18 on pomegranate (Punica granatum L.), in root-knot infested farmers' fields to test the efficacy of fluensulfone, carbofuran and Paecilomyces lilacinus (Purpureocillium lilacinum) in soil, at 12-15 days after pruning for the management of Meloidogyne incognita revealed that maximum number of fruit count and fruit picking with quality fruit size was recorded by fluensulfone 2% GR @ 40 g/plant followed by carbofuran 3% G @ 40 g/plant. The fluensulfone 2% GR @ 40 g/pant also recorded least root - knot index with long term nematode control compared to carbofuran 3G @ 40g/plant and Paecilomyces lilacinus @ 1 lit/ acre & it is suggested that fluensulfone @ 40 g/plant effectively managing root - knot nematode in pomegranate with higher yield and good quality of fruits without any adverse effect on plant.
