Management of Root-knot nematodes (Meloidogyne spp.) Infecting capsicum by fluensulfone Gr. in protected cultivation. Green Farming Vol. 12 (1&2): Jan.-Feb. & March-April 2021

ABSTRACT
An experiment conducted during 2017-19 on Capsicum (Capsicum annum L.), in root-knot infested sick plots by incorporating different doses of Fluensulfone in soil, at 1 & 20-25 days after planting for the management of Meloidogyne spp. indicated that maximum number of flowers (30) and fruit set-up (13) was recorded in the T3 i.e. Fluensulfone 2% Gr @ 1.75 g/plant followed by T2 i.e. Fluensulfone @ 1.50 g/plant at 75 days after application. The T3 and T2 are statistically at par with respect to their efficacy. Therefore it is advisable that lower dose i.e. Fluensulfone @ 1.50 g/plant for managing root-knot nematode to get higher yield without any adverse effect on beneficial soil nematodes.
