ABSTRACT
An experiment was conducted during kharif and rabi seasons for years 2011 and 2012 at Directorate of Rice Research Farm, Rajendranagar to study the activity of nitrate reductase at tillering stage and at flowering stage under SRI and NTP in different rice varieties. The results revealed that all rice varieties under SRI significantly showed higher nitrate reductase activity compared to NTP at tillering stage. Among all the varieties, hybrids DRRH-3 and PA-6129 recorded significantly higher nitrate reductase activity under System of rice intensification (SRI) compared to Normal transplanting method (NTP).
Key words :
Nitrate reductase, Normal Traditional cultivation, Oryza sativa, System of rice Intensification.
