ABSTRACT
The highest population of aphids and leaf hoppers was noticed in second week of September in kharif season of 2016 as well as 2017. However, the infestation of shoot and fruit borer was at peak in third week of October in both the years. Minimum temperature, morning relative humidity and rainfall showed significantly positive correlation with aphid and leaf hopper population in both the seasons. The same case was found with white fly. Bright sunshine hours showed significantly positive correlation with per cent infestation of shoot and fruit borer of brinjal in both the years.
Key words :
Brinjal, Pests infestation, Population dynamics, Shoot and fruit borer, Sucking pests.
